How to Pay Less
for Your Ski Pass

💡 Buy the right pass for your days

A 6-day pass works out at ~€58/day. Three separate day passes cost ~€70/day each. If skiing 4+ days, always buy a multi-day pass.

💡 Don't upgrade to Unlimited unless needed

The Mont Blanc Unlimited costs ~€90 more than the Le Pass for 6 days. Only worthwhile if you specifically plan to ski Courmayeur or Verbier.

💡 Avoid Christmas and half-term peaks

Passes don't change price by season — but accommodation does. Skiing in January saves 20–40% on chalet costs vs Christmas or half-term weeks.

💡 Book online to skip queues

Buying online at montblancnaturalresort.com rarely gives a discount but avoids first-morning queues. Collect via the hands-free card on arrival.

💡 Check tour operator packages

Many ski holiday operators include the lift pass in their package price — sometimes slightly cheaper than buying independently, especially for beginners.

💡 Under 5s ski free, always

Children under 5 (under 1m tall) need no pass in Chamonix. Children 5–12 pay the reduced child rate — approximately 25% less than adult pricing.

Ski Pass FAQs

How much is a ski pass in Chamonix?
A day pass costs approximately €65–75 per adult. A 6-day Chamonix Le Pass costs approximately €320–380. The Mont Blanc Unlimited 6-day pass costs approximately €420–460. Children under 5 ski free. Always verify at montblancnaturalresort.com for confirmed current season pricing.
What is the Chamonix Le Pass?
The Chamonix Le Pass covers all 5 valley ski areas — Les Grands Montets, Brévent, La Flégère, Les Houches, and Le Tour. The free valley bus is included. The Aiguille du Midi cable car is NOT included. Available as day passes or multi-day passes up to a full season.
Is the Aiguille du Midi included in the ski pass?
No — the Aiguille du Midi is NOT included in the standard Chamonix Le Pass. A separate return ticket costs approximately €67–72 per adult. It IS included in the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass. If you plan to ski the Vallée Blanche, budget for either the Unlimited pass or a standalone Aiguille du Midi ticket.
Where can I buy a Chamonix ski pass?
Online at montblancnaturalresort.com (recommended — no queues), at lift ticket offices at the base of any ski area, or at the Chamonix tourist office. Buying online rarely saves money but saves time. See our full guide on where to buy.
